Step 1 – Initial Consultation

Free – Initial Consultation with Ian – One hour

Purpose – To establish a baseline about your agency, what you want to achieve and whether or not we think this interpretation of Self Employed Agency is for you. 

Step 2 – Create your business plan

This will be a full day at either your office or mine.  You can have as many of your key team involved in this day and the output.

In this meeting our objective will be to explore and discuss what you want to get out of  a self-employed agency

  1. Tool for geographic expansion
  2. Conversion of your whole residential sales operation
  3. Part conversion, part expansion (you are going to run two models, side by side)

You may be very clear on the above tactic or you may not.

Core Concepts within a Self Employed Model that we will discuss:

  • The Role of Technology in a High Skill / High Tech Business
  • Defining the patches and therefore the number of associates
  •  Financial Modelling
  • Who is responsible for what?
  • Output from the Day

The output will be a financial model that we will create together that will give you a V1 of your business plan.

We will also create a full list of the assumptions we have made for the business plan.

Materials to Support your Process and implementation of the Strategy

  • 2 Different Agency Agreements to allow the taking of upfront fees
  • Associate Self Employed Contract – to cover their relationship with you
  • Associate Onboarding Checklist (this tells the associates what they need to set up before they start)
  • Brochure for existing team members to tell them about becoming an associate (template, designed for PB)
  • Draft Presentation for the rollout to your existing team

Step 3: Planning the Transition (only relevant for conversion)

This can be done as a 2 hour zoom call or as a half day at your premises

  • What are the elements of cost that we want to move from fixed to variable? 
  • What are the key elements of cost reduction that will be necessary?
  •  Running a Team of Associates
  • The Preston Baker Story – How did we do it?
  • How do we transition from the old model to the New?

Step 4: Assist with the transition

Subject to time, I am happy to assist with the transition including coming to your rollout and presenting the strategy to them and sharing the experience that we have had as a business

Full day with you designing your business plan and all contracts necessary for implementation

£8000+VAT

Package 2

Designing a transition strategy for those agencies converting their business.  Getting from A-B 

£750+VAT for 2 hour zoom call

£5000+VAT for 2 hour zoom call and a full day on site with you.
